COMPLIMENTARY WATERPROOF COATING.

A water-repellent coating — normally ¥4,400 — is available free of charge for a limited time until April 30th.

This treatment draws on a water-repellent technique passed down for nearly 100 years in Kyoto, originally developed for kimono fabrics.

Each pair is hand-finished by artisans, with a protective agent deeply penetrated into every fiber — achieving far greater repellency than conventional sprays.

Protect your shoes from rain and stains, and stay comfortable through the rainy season.

How to Apply

Simply check the "Waterproof Coating" option on any product page and add it to your cart. The free coating will be applied automatically.

This offer is only available with a new product purchase. Coating for previously purchased items is not eligible for this campaign.

Important Notes

The water and stain repellent effect is not permanent.
Under normal use, the effect lasts approximately one year before gradually diminishing.

As the treatment repels water and oil, it does not protect against solid dirt such as mud or dust particles.

Orders with this coating option cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged (including size exchanges). Please confirm your size before ordering.

The treatment may cause slight changes in gloss or texture of the material.

About the Treatment

This treatment is based on a water-repellent technique that has been applied to kimono fabrics in Kyoto, Japan for nearly 100 years. Each pair is carefully treated by hand by Kyoto artisans.

Unlike conventional waterproof sprays or surface treatments, this process uses specialized technology and equipment to deeply penetrate each individual fiber with a protective agent, achieving a level of water repellency far beyond standard methods. The treatment does not compromise breathability.

The coating repels both water and oil, protecting your shoes from rain, water absorption, and mud splashes.
