A collection inspired by AKARI, the lighting works of sculptor Isamu Noguchi. The multiple stitch lines placed throughout, the light and airy materiality, and the organic forms are designed to resonate with the supple curves of the bamboo ribs in Noguchi’s light sculptures AKARI, as well as the energy that inhabits his many sculptural works.
Through an exceptionally thin sole that offers excellent grip, each step recalls a primitive sensation—feeling the breath of the earth beneath one’s feet and resonating with the planet itself.
FORM OF DIFFUSION
A flat silhouette crafted from soft cow leather, based on the SUNLIGHT model. The upper is made from smooth cow leather, while the lining features pigskin, creating a gently enveloping and supple fit.
