A smooth leather sneaker based on the SUNLIGHT model. Crafted from soft-finished smooth leather, it combines a lightweight feel with refined elegance.
The sneaker features OAO's original sole, specifically engineered for comfort in urban environments. With a total thickness of 6.5 cm, the sole incorporates two types of EVA with different levels of firmness. A firmer outer layer provides stability, while a softer inner layer delivers cushioning and comfort underfoot, maximizing walking performance on concrete and other hard surfaces.
The outsole is made from lightweight rubber, offering an optimal balance of lightness and grip.
The multiple stitching lines throughout the design echo the graceful curves of the bamboo ribs found in "AKARI," the iconic light sculptures by Isamu Noguchi.
