Inspired by the works of Richard Serra, these zip-up boots explore the interplay of straight lines and curves. Their layered structure embraces distortion while maintaining an overall sense of balance. Surfaces shaped by tension and curvature are composed with sculptural precision. The rich texture of the materials accentuates the contours, bringing a sense of tension and volume to the still form.
The Black version is crafted from steer leather, carefully tanned one hide at a time in Himeji, Japan. The Gray and Brown versions feature a subtly uneven dye finish that evokes the depth and character of aged leather. As light moves across the surface, the leather's texture and tonal variations reveal the interplay of sculptural planes, lending each colorway a distinct sense of depth.
