ARC COMBAT BOOTS (Black)
Inspired by the work of Richard Serra, this combat boot brings together intersecting straight and curved lines, with distorted surfaces rising along the leg. Through their precise composition, these elements form a silhouette defined by sculptural discipline and balance.
The tongue features a three-dimensional gusset construction reminiscent of a pouch. Depending on how the laces are tied, the tension and volume of its surfaces shift, allowing the wearer’s gestures to shape its contours. The design leaves room for the form to evolve within its structure.
Smooth suede leather and long-haired haircalf are boldly arranged along the curves of the silhouette. The interplay of contrasting textures, shifting shadows, and soft pile lends depth and a sense of lightness to the sculptural form.
The robust construction of a military boot is reinterpreted through a quiet, refined expression.
