At OAO, care instructions vary depending on the specific product and materials used. Please refer to the appropriate section below to help extend the life and appearance of your shoes.

These sneakers incorporate real leather in parts of the design.

To keep your shoes in good condition and extend their lifespan, we recommend the following care routine:

  1. Allow your shoes to rest for two days after each full day of wear

  2. Gently brush or wipe down your shoes once a month

  3. Once a month, apply a water-repellent spray and use leather conditioner appropriate for the leather type
    
    Please note: Leather conditioners differ depending on whether your shoes use smooth leather or suede/nubuck. Be sure to use the correct type.

For deeper cleaning, we also recommend hand washing with a sneaker shampoo approximately every six months or when shoes appear noticeably dirty.

We recommend using WATER + STAIN REPELLENT SPRAY. This spray is suitable for all OAO materials, including leather, and contains moisturizing ingredients that help maintain both water resistance and material quality.

【SUNLIGHT / AUTH NYLON】

These shoes feature canvas, nylon, and synthetic leather materials.

To maintain the shape and appearance of your shoes:

  1. Allow your shoes to rest for two days after each full day of wear

  2. Gently brush off dust and dirt once a month

  3. Once a month, use a water-repellent spray and wipe clean with a damp towel

We also recommend hand washing with a sneaker shampoo every six months or when significant dirt appears.

As above, we suggest WATER + STAIN REPELLENT SPRAY, which is suitable for all OAO materials and helps maintain both waterproofing and visual appeal.

【SUNLIGHT CORE / LES ARCS BOOTS / AUTH TREK】

These products feature firm leather that may feel tight at first but will gradually soften and mold to your feet after a few wears.

To care for these shoes long-term:

  1. Allow your shoes to rest for two days after each full day of wear

  2. Gently brush or wipe down your shoes once a month

  3. Apply water-repellent spray and appropriate leather conditioner once a month

For stubborn stains or dirt that cannot be removed with regular care, apply a small amount of anhydrous ethanol to a clean cloth and gently wipe the area.
