- Breathing Shell -
A sneaker sandal inspired by the shell-like structure seen in the “Matrix” space of Teshima Art Museum, located on a hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. The form resembles a single shell shaped by the forces of nature. The carefully tanned leather upper is punctuated with organically placed cavities created with minimal intervention. These openings invite surrounding wind and light into the structure, evoking a sense of direct resonance between the foot and the environment.
MATRIX creates an open space between the body and nature, awakening a renewed sensory connection to the natural world at your feet.
NATURE-FORMED CAVITY
The upper features a shell-like structure that allows light and air from the outside to enter the shoe. A snap button on the heel belt enables two-step size adjustment for a customizable fit.
SOFT STABILITY
The sole features Vibram’s Faster® outsole. By incorporating CITYPLUS EVA and a TPU shank, it provides a soft and comfortable feel suited for urban life while also delivering the stability and durability required for off-road terrain.
