HARUNOBUMURATA proposes a concept of modern luxury found in sophisticated behavior, combining a very Japanese and minimalist philosophy with the spirit of Italian craftsmanship, where the designer spent a lot of time.
After graduating from ESMOD in 2010, Harunobu Murata moved to Italy and started his career as a women's wear designer at John Richmond. In 2015, he joined JILSANDER design team and created Lucy & Luke. His career matured under Mr. and Mrs. Meyer.
The label, launched in Japan in 2019, incorporates a multifaceted perspective based on essential research into fashion, combining culturally mature Japanese materials with Italian materials. We transform this craftsmanship into elegant dresses using advanced draping techniques.
