Based on OAO’s slider sandal model, SUNLIGHT VOID, this special edition is created exclusively for International Gallery BEAMS, a select store located in Harajuku, Tokyo.
Unlike the standard model, the upper is crafted from structured embossed leather, and a heel strap has been added to provide an enhanced fit and the distinctive sense of weight unique to leather.
The multiple stitched lines across the upper are designed to echo the supple bamboo rib curves of Isamu Noguchi’s light sculpture “AKARI.”
The overlapping stitched curves and the flowing arcs of leather tape evoke a sense of limitless creative potential at your feet.
GRAIN LEATHER UPPER
The upper is crafted from premium cow leather, distinguished by its unique sheen and deep grain texture. While maintaining a relaxed sandal silhouette, it brings a refined and elegant presence to the feet.
ADJUSTABLE HEEL STRAP
An adjustable leather heel strap, exclusive to this special edition model, has been added with four levels of size adjustment. It provides enhanced stability and ensures a comfortable fit throughout the day.
