OAO’s slider sandal “SUNLIGHT VOID” is an exclusive model for International Gallery BEAMS. It features firm, embossed leather throughout and is equipped with a heel strap, enhancing both fit and the rich, substantial feel unique to leather.
The design maintains a balanced volume with a clean aesthetic, incorporating Vibram’s Zermatt sole. The outsole is updated with the latest “Traction Lug” technology, delivering enhanced grip, propulsion, and lightweight performance while retaining its signature softness.
Multiple stitch lines run across the upper, echoing the graceful curves of bamboo ribs seen in Isamu Noguchi’s light sculpture “AKARI,” creating a design that resonates with its organic form.

Featuring a patented molding process, the outsole integrates micro-scale 3D lugs in a stepped arrangement on the primary lugs for enhanced ground grip. This structure improves traction—forward propulsion—by up to 25% during walking.
