0fr. Paris
0fr. is a renowned bookstore-gallery located in the northern Marais district (3rd arrondissement) of Paris, France. It began in 1996 as a free magazine, “0fr” (named after the former French currency, zero franc), and evolved into a bookstore in 1998. The name also stands for “open, free and ready,” reflecting its rare year-round operation in France—open 365 days a year, 7 days a week.
Run by siblings Alexandre and Marie, 0fr. has been at the heart of Parisian culture, directing artists and launching over 200 publications, as well as bookstores and galleries worldwide. Known for its stacked art books and distinctive atmosphere, it continues to attract visitors from around the globe seeking Parisian intelligence and culture.
It has been frequented by Virgil Abloh during fashion weeks and referenced by Tyler, The Creator at the KENZO 23–24AW runway show. The space has also hosted book signings and events with leading creatives such as Sofia Coppola, Raf Simons, and Juergen Teller, and continues to serve as a cultural landmark connecting global art and fashion.
